Frankie Robert Shuff, 63, of Gold Hill, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2017 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

He was born December 25, 1953 in Logan, WV to the late James Shuff and Nell Gilmer. He is a graduate of Man High School in West Virginia and attended Pfeiffer University. Frankie worked as a Manager for Shoney’s and then worked at Freirish Foods in Salisbury. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing cards, chess and golf.

Frankie is survived by brother, Kevin B. Shuff of Gold Hill; sister, Virginia Shuff Bowers of China Grove; nephew, Evan A. Shuff of Kings Mountain, and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by his wife, Tonya Shuff.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
