Franklin Carl Russell, 63, of Salisbury, NC passed away November 6, 2012 at the Brian Center in Salisbury. Mr. Russell was born August 16, 1949 and is preceded in death by his parents Eunice Hayes and James Hayes. Franklin was a veteran having served as a U.S. Marine.

Mr. Russell enjoyed reading westerns by Louie Lamore as well as hanging out at the coffee house. Franklin also enjoyed walking and spending time with family.

Franklin Russell is survived by a daughter; Michelle Kaufman and husband Noel of Simpsonville, SC, a son; Dan Franklin Russell of Battle Creek, MI, a brother; Tim Russell and wife Jan of Quincy, MI, and 3 grandchildren; Brandon and Cameron Kaufman of Simpsonville, SC, and Laken Russell of Coldwater, MI.

There will be a Memorial Service November 17, 11:00 AM at the Free Methodist Church in Coldwater Michigan conducted by pastor Nelson Brandymore.
