Franklin Dewitt Graham, 75, of Salisbury, passed away on Monday October 24, 2016 at the Wake Forest Medical Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Graham was born on December 31, 1940 in Stanly County, to the late James Matheson Graham and Geneva Waller Graham. Mr. Graham proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Franklin was raised in the Methodist Childrens Home in Winston-Salem and was always helping others no matter what they needed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Brinkley Graham; a brother, Jerry Graham; and two sisters, Linda Rose Graham, and Jenny Sue Willingham.

He is survived by his good friend, Carl Park and wife Revonda of Salisbury; a sister, Opal Wilson of New London; and numerous other friends and family.

A Graveside Military Service will be held on Friday Saturday November 11, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. Military Honors will be performed by the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard and the NC National Guard.
