George Willis “Willie” Christopher, 72, of Rockwell, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at his home after an extended illness. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones during this time.

Willie was born August 16, 1950 in Burlington, NC to the late George Christopher and Elizabeth Lipscomb Christopher. Willie worked as a CNC Operator for Hersey Meters and proudly served in the United States Army.

In his spare time he enjoyed camping and fishing at the beach. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and fur baby Maggie Mae.

Willie is survived by his wife, Patricia Christopher; daughters Tracey Hardister ( Kenneth) and Mandy Epperson ( Mark); five grandchildren; six great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

There will be a memorial service celebrating his life held in the future.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rowan Hospice, American Diabetes or American Heart Association.
