Gloria Wagoner Patton, born October 7, 1946, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2026, after a prolonged period of medical issues. She was surrounded by her loving family, just as she had surrounded them with a lifetime of love, warmth, and devotion.
Gloria was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by her love for her family and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering support, boundless love, and generous heart made her someone truly special. She had a warm, caring personality and a way of making those she loved feel cherished and supported. Her presence was a blessing, and her love will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Patton; her mother, Virginia Wagoner; her father, Raymond Wagoner; and her sister, Debra Bulla.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Polly Ballard and Mark; her brother, Gary Wagoner and Ann; her sons, Jeffrey (Sherry) Patton and Gerald Patton and Tina; and her daughter, Sherry Patton.
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jessica Davidson, Christopher Greene, Dustin and Kala Brown, Destiny Patton, Joshua Patton, Kristen Thompson, Brandon and Gabby Mullins, Adam Patton, Zack Patton, and Wesley Patton, along with 11 precious great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy.
When Gloria wasn’t spending time with the people she loved most, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved the beach, fishing, gardening, and being surrounded by her family. She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Little Bit, and enjoyed watching Bob Barker.
Above all, Gloria’s greatest joy was her family. She gave her love freely, supported those around her without hesitation, and created memories that will be treasured for generations. Though her family must now say goodbye, the lessons she taught, the love she shared, and the memories she leaves behind will live on forever.
She was deeply loved, will be forever missed, and will never be forgotten.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will remain with us always.
