On Tuesday, February 27, Heather entered Heaven the way she lived her life, with courage, dignity and grace.
Heather was born on a quiet day on May 26, 1987, in Lexington, NC. From that day forward, she brought nothing but joy, happiness and sunshine into our lives and the lives of many others. Heather grew up on a small farm in Lexington, NC. She quickly became a lover of animals, especially pigs, roosters and dogs. Her beloved dog Twix taught her so much and she loved all her pets unconditionally.
Always a determined achiever, Heather was born with the heart of a lion and unrelenting determination. Heather’s family said of her after her passing that “all people die but not all people live”. Heather lived! She packed so much life into her thirty-six years. She traveled, loved her family, chased her dreams, worked in a profession she loved, fell in love, mended a broken heart and still put one foot in front of the other battling what she knew from the start was an incurable illness. She did so with grace, dignity, integrity and courage. Although we may no longer physically see Heather, we believe she has left a mark on all of us lucky enough to have known her.
Heather would want all of us to remember her with a smile rather than with tears. She would want us to find comfort in knowing she is free from pain and home with her Heavenly Father, her family gone before and her beloved dog Twix. Heather will always continue to bring sunshine into our lives. We will miss her witty sense of humor, her contagious smile and her love of life. She will be deeply loved forever and will never be forgotten. Heather was that “one in a million” special kind of person. She was proceeded in death by Troy W. Hege Sr, Connie L. Hege, Tabatha A. Khan and Shanan L. Tysinger. Survivors include her brother : Troy Hege Jr (Kelly) sisters : Mae Hamilton, Katherine Hege, Rebecca Tysinger, Lindsay Tysinger and Melissa Tysinger.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 24, 2024 @ 2pm at New Hope Christian Center, 10607 N Main St Archdale, NC 27263. Immediately following everyone is invited to the home of her brother for fellowship and refreshments.
