Ira Wilson Bail, 82, of Kannapolis passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the W.G. “Bill” Hefner V.A. Hospital. Ira was born on November 14, 1927 in Russell County, V.A., son of the late Thomas Charles and Elizabeth May Boyd Ball. He was a graduate of Honaker High School in Honaker, V.A., and was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. Ira was a Truck Driver and attended the Assembly of God in Concord, N.C.

In addition to his parents Ira is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors: Ira is survived by brothers; Harold Wayne Ball of Virginia Beach, V.A., Thomas Charles Ball og Lakeland, F.L., and Benford Boyd Ball of Wasola, M.I. Sisters; Elizabeth Irene Ball Ashbrook of Chesapeak, V.A., and Shirley Bean Ball Bergeron of Davidson, N.C.
