Janet Carol Leonard Church, 63, of Lexington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Janet was born on December 21, 1952, the daughter of the late Jesse & Thelma Biesecker Leonard. She is survived by her son Charles (Allison) of Salisbury, grandchildren Landon & Raegan; brother, Ron Leonard (Jo) of Lexington; cousin Rita Leonard of Lexington; special uncle, Bobby Leonard of Lexington; and nieces & nephews, Kevin Leonard of Charlotte; Carmen Grammer (Erik) of Los Angeles, CA; Smith Thompson of Lexington; Robert Thompson of Atlanta, GA; Anne Gould of Lexington.

A memorial service will be held at Lexington Church of God at 11am on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Visitation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Janet’s name to the donor’s charity of choice.
