Janet “Diane” Riley Leazer, 71, of Rockwell, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

Diane was a woman of deep faith making her spiritual home at Genesis Baptist Church of Landis and Living Large Ministries in Rockwell.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Diane loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that they will carry forever. In her quiet moments, she could often be found working on puzzles, a favorite pastime.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to her faith, and her unwavering love for her family.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by brothers, George Riley, Larry Riley, and Gary Riley.

Diane is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael Leazer; children, Melissa Leazer (Chad) of Mocksville; David Coble of Virginia; grandchildren, Stone Leazer and Lucas Coble; and sister, Bonny Graham of Salisbury.

There will be a memorial service held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, October 27th, 2026 at the Salisbury National Cemetery Annex, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rowan Helping Ministries, 226 N. Long St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
