Jeannie A. Hawley Clouse, 91, of Granite Quarry, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, from a traumatic brain injury.

Mrs. Clouse was born June 24, 1933 in Wilson, NC to the late Fred Segers and Madalynn Jones Segers. She worked in healthcare as a Nurse Assistant for 42 years and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by brother, Bill Hawley; sister, Jerry Ann Anderson; sons, Russell Floyd Varner and Jerry David Clouse; and granddaughter, Megan Clouse.

Jeannie is survived by sister, Becky Osten; four children, Cindy Johnson (Mike); Lindsey Wade Varner; Michael Clouse (Robin); and Justin Lee Clouse (Connie); seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service held at 11am on Friday, August 2, 2024 at River City Church, 600 S. Correll Street, Landis, NC, 28088. A private family visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
