Jeannine M. Carney, 88, of Cape May and formerly of Woodstock, IL and Wanaque, NJ passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2022.
Jeannine was born at St. Vincent’s hospital in Manhattan. She graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in art. She travelled the world as a flight attendant with Eastern and later with Continental airlines. With her love for the beach, she retired with her husband, Bill to live in Cape May, NJ.
Her selfless nature and good humor always brightened the room. She would make the best out of any situation and never complain. With her kindness, she helped people get through rough spots in their life. She lived life to the fullest and appreciated each day.
Jeannine is predeceased by her husband, William “Bill”.
She is missed by her family which include her three children; Christine (Mike) Tansey, Lisa (Mike) Brakora, and Stephen (Carissa) Saalfelder; three stepchildren, Thomas (Lacey) Carney, Kevin (Summer) Carney and Meghan Carney (Patrick Anderson); and nine grandchildren.
