John Thomas Bolton Jr., 66, of Statesville, NC passed away November 4, 2o12 at his residence. Mr. Bolton was born January 9, 1946 in Hamilton Ohio to Nadrue Riley Kelch and the late John Bolton. John Thomas Bolton Jr. proudly served in the US Navy.

John enjoyed working on and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, reading, and a enjoyed writing as well.

In addition to his father, John is preceded in death by a brother, Danny Bolton.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his wife; Charlene Bolton, sons; Danny Bolton of Churchill, TN, John Bolton of Statesville, NC, and Larry Bolton of Statesville, NC, daughter; Dawn Bolton of Ohio, step-son; Michael Wass of Arkansas, step-daughter; Christine Wass of Como, NC, brothers; Gary Bolton of Ohio, Joe Kelch of Ohio, and Mark Kelch of Ohio, sisters; Roxanne Mendlick and husband Michael of Trophy Club, TX, and Carol Tarter of Ohio, as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on November 30, 2012 at the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, North Carolina.
