Julia Agner Steed, 61, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Novant Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. She was born on August 8, 1958 in Rowan County to the late Kenneth Agner and Joyce Agner.

Julia was the owner and operator of a Scrap Metal Business with her longtime partner Steven Dale Overcash. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks and was a great cook and she loved to try out new recipes. Julia also enjoyed stripping wire at the scrap metal business and she loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Julia is survived by her longtime partner, Steven Dale Overcash of Salisbury; her children, Sammy Steed of Salisbury, and Michelle Steed of Salisbury; and three grandchildren.
