Karen Jean Johnson, 82, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Alpha Concord Plantation Assisted Living in Salisbury. Ms. Johnson was born on May 22, 1935 in Richland Center, Wisconsin to the late Floyd Earl Johnson and Mildred Ruth Nimocks Johnson.

Karen graduated from Ithaca High School in Ithaca, WI and worked as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed reading.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Alice Johnson Bostian, NC.

She is survived by a sister, Charlene Johnson Zier of Fitchburg, WI; and an aunt, Phyllis Meister of Plain, WI; also from Wisconsin is her niece, Michelle Wiest, and her two nephew’s, Greg Zier and Dan Zier and 3 great-niece’s and 2 great-nephew’s. From North Carolina are her three niece’s, Connie Bentley, Brenda Alley and Rebecca Erwin and nephew, Jeffrey Bostian and 5 great-niece’s and 4 great-nephew’s.

A memorial service will be held in Richland Center, Wisconsin, at a later date.
