Kaye Sapp Allen, of Salisbury and Lexington, passed away on December 6, 2022, after a prolonged illness. She was reunited across the rainbow bridge with her many beloved cats; her husband, Sam Allen III; brother, Jimmy Sapp; mother, Dollie Kesler Sapp Moose; and father, James Delmer Sapp, Sr.
Kaye was a graduate of Salisbury High School and Appalachian State University. She worked at Sherwin Williams and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Those left to cherish her memory are her nephews, Jason Sapp and Greg Sapp of Salisbury; step-father Carroll Moose; and step-daughter, Becky Allen Noell.
The family would like to extend immense gratitude to the staff of Trinity Oaks Nursing Home who loved her well.
The family will have a private service for her at the beach.

Kaye, what a delight to be around and share a memory and talk about politics and the unjust in the world. And while shooting pool with Sammy at the Elks. Those times were my cherished moments that I remember and wish so to be relived. I will see you both again, I’m sure of it.
