Logan McAdams, 30, of Charlotte, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

He was born October 6, 1991 in High Point, NC. He graduated from North Davidson High School in 2010 and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Logan worked as a tattoo artist at Absolute Tattoo where he apprenticed before continuing his career at 510 Expert Tattoo & Body Piercing in NoDa. In his spare time he enjoyed photography and skateboarding. He was a very gifted artist and had a passion for drawing and sketching.

Logan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lindley and Elizabeth McAdams, and maternal grandfather, Tommy Menius.

Logan is survived by his parents, Mel McAdams (Dottie) of Greensboro; and Kelly Kennedy (Foy) of Lexington; grandmother, Faye Menius; sisters, Molly Millard, Amelia Matheny (Cheyne), and Maya McAdams; special friends, Ashley Fulcher and Chris Lopp; aunts, Lynn McAdams and Debbie Archer (Dan); nephew, Mason; niece, Isla; uncle, Neil Menius (Kim Wagoner); cousins, Trey Archer (Kathlyn), Chan Archer and Ward Archer.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 3-5pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, 913 W. Main St. Rockwell, NC 28138.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Oaks Health and Rehab in honor of Faye Menius, 728 Klumac Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

    Logan I remember you as a small child and your tie-dye t-shirts. You were at the light of your mother and father’s eyes. You grew into a wonderful human being an awesome person I’m glad I got to see that. My condolences and Love to the whole family
