Louise Irene Giblin Scott, 77, of Salisbury and formerly of Endwell, NY, peacefully passed away on August 9, 2016 at Carillon Assisted Living, Salisbury.

Louise was born in Binghamton, NY to the late T. Raymond and Marion A. Giblin on November 2, 1938. She attended Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Endwell, NY. Louise was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, an amazing baker and cook, and an avid sports fan. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband Bob, and entire family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Robert D. Scott; sisters, Ann Quarteraro and Sue Pasquale; and brother, Tom Giblin.

She is survived by daughters, Kristen Colwell (Steven) of Salisbury, NC and Heidi Wesley (William) of Burnsville, MN; brother, Ed Giblin (Mary Beth Waitkavicz) of Binghamton, NY; Sister-in-laws, Joan Giblin of Binghamton, NY and Sandie Stastny (Emil) of Johnson City, NY; grandchildren, Trista and Angela Wesley, Caroline and Kendall Colwell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. Chetan Amin for providing such excellent care to Louise over the last five years, as well as to the caring staff of Carillon Assisted Living and Rowan Hospice & Palliative Care.

There will be a memorial service with family and friends held at 12pm Sunday, August 21, 2016, in the chapel on the grounds of Vestal Hills Memorial Park, 3997 Old Vestal Rd. Vestal, NY 13850.
