Mamie Irene Eccard Beardsworth, 90, of Salisbury, passed away on September 28, 2010 at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks of Salisbury. Mamie was born on December 31, 1919 in Frederick County, Maryland, daughter of the late Henry Benjamin Icard and Orpha Rae Storrlemyer Icard. Mamie was a proof reader for a literary publishing house, and was of the Methodist Faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Richard Stanley Beardsworth.

Survivors: Mamie is survived by her sons; Barry Plummer Horine and wife Jan of Summerfield, F.L., and Richard Stanley Beardsworth, Jr. of Yorktown, V.A., and daughter Elizabeth Ann Horine Meredith and husband Sam of Salisbury.
