Mary Ann Lomax Doby, 74, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her home.
She was born October 31, 1946 in New London, NC to the late Boyce Lomax and Isabelle Fraser Lomax. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, collecting tea pots and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by brother, John Lomax; Bruce Lomax; and sister, Margaret Zabicki.
Mary is survived by her children, Dawn Derringer (Jim) of Gold Hill, NC; Nick Waddell (Debi) of Wilmington; Laura Waddell of Salisbury; grandchildren, Misty Derringer, Steven Chance Cartner, Crystal Derringer, Autumn Waddell, Christopher Waddell, Ashley Brown, Zoey Waddell; and 5 great-grandchildren.
There will be a private celebration of life held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Gold Hill, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
