Mary Lynne Shirley, 100, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Elmcroft of Salisbury. She was born on October 10, 1921 in Wake County, NC to late Kenneth Myatt and Elinor Conyers Myatt.

Mary was a member of a of First Presbyterian Church of Salisbury and she enjoyed flower arranging, always making beautiful arrangements from any flower available. During WWII she served her country at the Raleigh Municipal Airport for the US Weather Bureau. She later owned her own Florist in Raleigh before retiring. She was a beautiful, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A delicious cook and the the perfect hostess to many family gatherings.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Amos, a brother, a sister, and one grandchild

Mary is survived by three children and their spouses, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

There will be a private service at a later date
