Michael Edward Blasier, 84 of Concord, passed away Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born April 19th, 1942, in Buffalo, New York to the late Meredith Lugibihl and Eleanor Robbins Waldby.

He attended school in Syracuse, New York. He worked as a MAC Tool Distributor in Georgia for greater than 20 years.  In the 8 years leading up to his retirement he was a Special Needs Bus Driver with Gwinnett County Schools. He was a Nascar enthusiast and enjoyed watching races and collecting Nascar memorabilia. He enjoyed traveling and making memories with his wife of 32 years, Beverly.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his beloved dogs Mickey and Minnie.

Michael is survived by his wife, Beverly Blasier of Concord; daughter, Sue Weber (Ed) of Longwood, Florida; grandsons, Ronnie Gruninger (Natalie) and David Gruninger (Kristin) of Florida. Michael was also blessed with 4 great-grandchildren, all residing in Florida; daughter, Michelle Motley (Wayne) of Concord; granddaughter, Ciara Simmons of Concord; grandson, Austin Simmons of Arizona; son, Buddy Wade (Lisa) of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter, Kellie Wade and grandson, Ryan Wade of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Ginger Jones of South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be held with family at a later date.
