Rest in Peace to Paul Lavern Stroehlein, 87, of Lexington, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at his home in North Carolina, where he lived for 21 years. He was born May 23, 1936 in Dunkirk, NY to the late Jacob Stroehlein and Clara Churchwell Smith.

Paul worked at Roblin Steel, Altec Steel and after retirement, as a salesman for Creative Carpets; Lexington, NC. Paul served in the U.S. Military from 1954-1957. In his spare time, Paul spent time with his family, grandchildren and enjoyed a good laugh.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Peltier, his late wife, Marguerite Breen and his siblings, Chet Stroehlein, Richard Stroehlein, Donald Stroehlein and Allene Filsinger. Paul is survived by three daughters, Linda Brown; Buffalo, NY, Debra Price; Lexington, NC, and Rebecca Chmura; Lewisville, NC.

A memorial service will be held July 10^th, 12:00PM at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY. A luncheon will be provided following the service at Coughlin’s in Fredonia, NY

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Davidson County for providing comfort, care, and support to local families.
