Rebecca Gail Deaton, 64, of Harmony, NC passed away on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Rebecca was born on July 29, 1951 in Sanford, NC to the late Roy Deaton and Mildred Wall Deaton.

She enjoyed spending time with friends family and it made her happy taking care of everyone. She also loved good music and dancing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Larry Curtis Deaton

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Ann Lynskey of Rocky Mount, VA ; and a brother, Roy Gene Deaton of Harmony, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Union Grove Christian Church (1855 W. Memorial Hwy, Harmony, NC 28634) conducted by her nephew James Lynskey and Preacher Allen Lunsford.
