Robert “Bob”Charles Clewell, 81, of Lexington, NC passed away on Sunday November 15, 2015 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Lexington surrounded by family. Bob was born on September 07, 1934 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond F. Clewell and Susan Swartz Clewell. Mr. Clewell proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years and then as a Reserve in the Navy for four additional years.

Bob was of the Pentecostal faith and worked as a welder making ice machines. He enjoyed playing golf, word search puzzles, crossword puzzles, and he knew a little bit about everything. Bob loved to travel spend time with his family and traveled all over the country with his wife. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Clewell Jr..

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Clewell of Lexington; three daughters, Judiann Schutz and husband Michael of Albrightsville, PA, Debra Habrial and husband Jansen of Brookfield, NH, and Leanne Huff and husband Jim of Lexington, NC; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Justin (Samantha), Joel (Courtney), Stephanie, Emily, and Nathaniel; and one great grandchild, Bentley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
