Robert Dorian Casey, 79, of Weddington, NC passed away on May 2, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Casey was born on December 27, 1933 in Westfield, New Jersey. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Casey is survived by his wife of 52 years; Nancy Smith Casey, a son; Gordon Casey of Charlotte, a daughter; Karen Packey and husband Matthew of Charlotte, and two grandchildren; Lindsay and James Packey of Charlotte.

There will be a private family service for Mr. Casey at a later date.
