Robert Edward “Bobby” Lingerfelt Sr., 55, of Gold Hill, NC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 20, 2024 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 2, 1968 in York, SC to Lawrence Lingerfelt of York, SC and Peggy Wray of York, SC, raised by his mother Peggy and his step-father, the late Clarence “Lee” McFarland.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Robert “BJ” Lingerfelt Jr.; grand-parents, Robert and Doris Wray, and many aunts and uncles.

Robert was survived by his wife, Marlene “Sissy” Lingerfelt; daughter, Megan Sullivan and husband, Andy Sullivan; daughter, Tammy Lingerfelt; and grand-daughter, Emery Sullivan, the light of pepaw’s life. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his biological father, Lawrence Lingerfelt; mother, Peggy Wray; his half-brothers, a half-sister, and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date which will be announced. The ceremony will be held at Old Country Baptist Church located at 627 Faith Road Salisbury, NC 28146.
