Roger W. Risner, 64, of Salisbury, passed away on February 3, 2024 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.  Mr. Risner was born March 29, 2024 in Plainwell, MI to the late Roger Risner and Barbara Whitaker Riser.

Mr. Risner was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, he was very proud of the four years he served his country.  He was a 1978 graduate of Knox High School.  Roger was loved and will be missed very much. May our love for him reach heaven everyday.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brother, Rocky Lewis Risner.

Roger is survived by his sisters, Julie Isbanioly and husband Zack, and Flora Turnpaugh; and son Timothy C. Knepp.

There will be a graveside service with military honors on March 29, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Salisbury National Cemetery 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
