Ron Sherrill, 77, of Newland NC, passed away on July 18 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis following a period of declining health. He was the son of the late Macy Everett Sherrill and Verlie Munday Sherrill.

He is survived by three children, Micheal Sherrill, David Sherrill, Nicole S. Motley, five grandchildren, Nicholas & Grant Sherrill, Andrew, Seth & Noah Motley and two sisters, Becky Stevens and Judy Black.

Ron retired in 1999 to live in the NC mountains which he dearly loved. At Ron’s request there will not be a service. His ashes will be scattered in his beloved mountains.

In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to Tucker Hospice House, 5005 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 would be appreciated.
