Ronald Eugene Burgess Sr., 53, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his home.

He was born October 15, 1971 in Iredell County, NC to Eugene Burgess and Patricia Rhinehardt Cantrell. Ronald was a self taught roofer of 35 years, one of the best with a hammer and nail.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rhonda Burgess; 2 wonderful boys, Ronald Burgess Jr. and Austin Britt; blessed nephew, Matthew Burgess; 2 very handsom grandchildren, Braylyn Britt and Eastin Britt; best mother ever, Patricia Cantrell; big sister, Pamla Burgess; lil brother, Michael Burgess; and 2 very long lifetime friends, Chris Ingold and Jerry Porter “JP”; and many more family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
