Ronda L. Bradley

Share

Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Ronda L. Bradley, 53, of Lawndale, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland Medical Center. She was born on March 7, 1968 in Binghamton, NY to Linda Robinson.
She attended school at Liberty University and worked as a Special Needs Minister for Catawba Heights Baptist Church in Belmont, NC before retiring. She enjoyed spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, going on adventures, cheering her kids on at all their many events, taking beach trips with her husband, serving the Lord, being the neighborhood mom who would give you the shirt off her back but not the coffee in her cup, and fulfilling her dream of creating a homestead full of cows and chickens with the goal of self-sufficiency for the whole family.

Ronda was preceded in death by her Sister Tara Florance Robinson, Daughter Amy Clevenger Bradley, Grandson Alfonso Garcia, and Grandmother Wilma Aiken.

In addition to her mother Linda Robinson, Ronda is survived by her husband of 27 years, James Bradley of Lawndale; her brother Brian Florance, and sister Amy Florance, her children Serenity Bradley, Makayla Braden and husband Jonathan, Kaitlynn Poston and husband Caleb, Nikki Hoyt and husband Bradley, Scott Hoyt, Sean Bradley and wife Sarah, Jimmy Bradley, Tia Bradley, Kimberly Bradley, Tammy Boyd Bradley, and a multitude of beloved grand, and great grandchildren.

Ronda would like to be remembered in the small details of a life well-lived. She’s in the sound of her cheering on her children, the feel of the ocean breeze blowing back your hair, and the sound of her children and grandchildren laughing at Disney World. You can also find her in the anticipation of a new adventure, in the open arms of the neighborhood mom, in the mooing of a hungry cow, in the joy of saving a soul for the Lord, in the pure worship of her special needs students, and, most importantly, in the immense and enduring love between her and her husband.

She will be greatly missed by the love of her life, James, and each and every one of her family members.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Ronda was such a beautiful, special person. I was so blessed to get to know her on an impromptu trip to fulfill our farm girl dreams. I will always treasure those memories. 13 hours each way and she spent all 26 of them telling me about her family. You are all loved so much! She also told me about her sweet Amy. Now they are whole, dancing and singing before Jesus until the rest of us join them.
I will be thinking of you and praying for you all.

You are going to be greatly missed. The special needs ministry is one of the reasons we came to Catawba Heights. You were an inspiration and a light.

Ronda will be greatly missed. She carried her family in her heart and took every opportunity to speak about them! I will always remember her heart of gold & her love for our Lord & Savior. It’s definitely not “goodbye” but “see you later”!!

Ronda, you were one of my most beloved VACC Camp mommas!!! The love we all shared was that of family, not just friends! I will never forget you or all the hilarious moments we shared with Amy during all those years that changed my life forever! Give our spoiled little girl Amy a humongous squeeze for me! It’s the one thing about your departure that makes it okay. You get to see her again! I love you!! ❤️
