Russell Eugene Shultz, 59 of Salisbury, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was born on June 25, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charlie and Eleanor Shultz of Nemours, WV.

In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by a brother Floyd and a sister Deborah.

Russell is survived by his children, sons, Christopher, Russell, Jr., Michael, and daughters, Misty and Erin all of Florida. Sons, Randall (Kristy) and Tyler, and daughters, Kathy and Sydney, all of Salisbury. Brothers, James, Kenny, Steve (Rita), Eddie, Darrell, David (Glenda) and sisters, Rita (Roger) and Kelly (Todd). He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Russell’s wishes there will be no service and he will be cremated with his remains given to his children and brother Eddie.

The family wishes to thank his loving neighbors for all their care and kindness extended to him during his sickness; and to the doctors, nurses and staff on the First Floor ICU at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center for their loving care and dedication they gave during Russell’s final days.
