Santanna Nichole Wright, 27, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. She was born in Statesville on April 1, 1988.

Santanna was a 2006 graduate of Bunker Hill High School in Claremont, and was a member of the ROTC for 4 years. She worked at Pierre Food, was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Claremont, a member of Community Fellowship Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, enjoyed sports and loved music and reading.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie F. Duncan.

Survivors include her son, Karter A. Wright; mother, Princella Wright; mother A. LeVon Howard; father, Spencer Hanks; aunts, Tabitha Robinson, Daisy Wright-Bryant, and Ulrike Wright; grand-mothers, Alice Howard and Lucy Wright; sister, Tia Danielle Hames; Special Angel, Bilvia Sandoval; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephew, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held on December 13, 2015 in Statesville.
