Sherman Dean Taylor, 81, of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

He was born in Owensboro, KY to the late James Taylor and Bessie Beard Taylor. Sherman worked for Doyle printing for 30 years and in his spare time enjoyed bowling and golf. Sherman owned Thoroughbred horses that he bred and raced.

In addition to his parents, Sherman was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa.

Sherman is survived by sons, James Taylor and Kevin Taylor.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
