Mrs. Sylvia Ann Long 74 of Albemarle, NC passed away March 30, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Long was born in Stanly County daughter of the Fred and Odessa Long. She was educated in the Stanly County Schools, worked as a CNA at Stanly Memorial Hospital and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Craven of Albemarle, two sons, Jimmy Craven of Ridgeway, VA, and Freddie Craven of Carlsbad, CA. She has one brother, Rudolph Long of Old Fort, N.C, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held at 6:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Grace Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Delane Burris, Pastor.
