Thomas Frank Fisher, 82, of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday February 3, 2019 at Carrington Place Assisted Living in Matthews, NC. Mr. Fisher was born on April 1, 1936 in Cleveland, OH to the late George and Rose Maulisova Fisher. Thomas proudly served his country as a driver in Eastern Europe for the United States Army from 1958 to 1964, reaching the rank of Sergeant.

For more than thirty years, Mr. Fisher worked as a Parts Service Specialist for Harris Graphics in Cleveland, and later in Dayton.

He enjoyed to travel, fishing with his friends, rooting for the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and Ohio State University football. He was especially fond of dogs, and would always have treats for any dogs he might meet at the park!

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy (1971-2015).

He is survived by his best friend Dianne Rutledge Fisher and their son Tom, daughter-in-law Anne and granddaughter Avery, all of whom live near Charlotte, North Carolina.

A private Celebration of Life will be held with family in Jacksonville, Florida.
