Thomas Lee Dyson, 65, of Statesville, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born July 14, 1957 in Billings, MT to the late Leon and Lenora Sluss Dyson . Thomas worked as a heavy equipment operator for Timber Specialist in Statesville.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie Stroud and Michael L. Dyson.

Thomas is survived by his sisters, Deborah Bailey of Statesville, Sharon Watkins of Harmony and Elaine Spry and husband Robert of Mocksville; brother, David Dyson and wife Donna of Chesapeake, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
