Tony Lane Jenkins, a devoted husband, Daddy, Paw Paw, and friend, passed
away from his battle with cancer on April 14, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

Tony was married to his beloved wife, Janice Poole Jenkins, for 57 wonderful
years. Together, they built a life centered on love, partnership, and shared
commitment. For over thirty years, Tony and Janice were the proud
owner/operators of the NAPA store in China Grove. Even after selling the
business, Tony continued working for the new owners, demonstrating his
strong work ethic and passion for what he did. Tony was a Vietnam veteran,
serving his country with honor.

Surviving him are his loving wife, Janice; daughter, Tonya Correll (Randall) of
Mt. Ulla; and son, TJ Jenkins (Angie) of China Grove. He was a proud and
loving Paw Paw to Dillon, Eli, Lane, and Landon Jenkins, and Zoey, Zane, and
Zack Correll, who brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his sister, Lynda Jenkins Burke.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Overcash and Ralph Jenkins.

He will be remembered for his love of music, his passion for motorcycles, and
most importantly, his deep love for his family. His memory will live on in the
hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family welcomes friends to join them for a graveside service at West Lawn
Memorial Park in China Grove on Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 3 pm.
