Viola Veronica Plock, 91, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Tucker Hospice House. Viola was born on February 23, 1923 in New York City, New York to the late Joseph Sird and Evelyn Sird.

She enjoyed watching old movies, gardening and feeding the birds.

Mrs. Plock is survived by her husband, William Plock; a daughter, Lorraine Earley of Charlotte; a son, Joseph Toensmann in Palm Bay, Florida; three grandchildren, Scott and Penny Earley of Charlotte, Christopher Earley of Ft. Mill, and Lisa Dzakula of Arizona; and six great grandchildren.
