Wiley “Neal” O’Neal Fayne 72, of Thomasville, NC passed away on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Mr. Fayne was born on January 31, 1943 in Carroll County, VA to the late Curtis William Fayne and Clora Burcham Fayne. Neal proudly served his country in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.

Mr. Fayne owned and operated his own septic tank business with his son as well as owned and managed over one hundred rental properties. He enjoyed scuba diving, camping, hunting out west, and anything that involved being outdoors. Neal enjoyed his work and took pride in his work ethic and he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Della Cook.

He is survived by his wife of 48 yrs, Patty Sue Proctor Fayne of Thomasville; a son, Michael O’Neal Fayne and wife Wanda of Thomasville, NC; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Fayne of Moncure, NC; two brothers, Burlin Fayne and wife Harriet of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and James Fayne and wife Sandra of Archdale; a sister, Mozel Wonderly of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Rachel Pedigo, Sydney Pedigo, Zachary Fayne and wife Brittany, and Alexandria Fayne; and two great grandchildren, Andrew Fayne and Psymon Fayne.

A Celebration of life will be held at Bethany Hall at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Thomasville, NC on Sunday January 3, 2015 at 4:00 PM conducted by Senior Pastor Keith Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
