Mr. Philip Joseph Lefebvre, Jr. of Dan Bury Lane, Statesville, passed away August 14, 2011 at the Gordon Hospice House.
Mr. Lefebvre was born November 16, 1946 in Cohoes, NY son of Mrs. Ruth LeClair Lefebvre of Meriden, CT and the late Philip Joseph Lefebvre, Sr. He was educated in the Cheshire, CT schools, and was a marine designer, building ships and submarines. Mr. Lefebvre was of the Catholic Faith, and loved military history and was a supporter of the marching band of North Iredell High School.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Lefebvre and William Lefebvre.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Marilyn Hill Lefebvre of Statesville, two daughters, Kristine Giovannone and husband Robert of Statesville, and Michelle Williamson of Glen St. Mary, FL. One son survives also: Philip Joseph Lefebvre III of Glen St. Mary, FL. He has one brother, Edward Lefebvre of Meriden, CT. Four sisters survives, Virginia Schuman of New Britian, CT, Julie Custy, Ruth Ann Podgorski, and Jacqueline Sita of Meriden, CT. Six grandchildren survives, Tosha Giovannone, Robert Giovannone, Jr., Selina Giovannone, Johanna Lefebvre, Ariel Williamson, and Kyle Williamson. Two great grandchildren are Kaiden Bowers and Bryan Bennett, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to North Iredell Marching Band: In Care of Renee Hoover, 401 Camelot Dr. Statesville, NC 28625.
