Frederick George Foshay Sr., 69,of Salisbury passed away on Friday September 2,2022 at Novant Hospital.

He was born March 16, 1953 in Danbury, CT to the late George Foshay and Doris Lockwood Foshay. He graduated from Henry Abbott Technical School. He was a long time member of Southern New York Racing Association (SNYRA) and he worked for Irvan Simo Racing.

Frederick is survived by his wife, Diane Gilbert Foshay; brother, Paul (Dawn) Foshay; children, Frederick (Sandra) Foshay, Gregory (Rachel Sliech, Jessica Foshay, and Patricia (Alex) Childress; five grandchildren, Frederick III, Tyler, Maddy,Greyson, and Olivia; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He will be reunited with his parents, his brother Edward, and his sisters, Patricia and Doris. He will also be reunited with his son, William.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1 PM at West Park Baptist Church, 715 W.Park Dr. Rockwell, NC 28138.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brenner Children Hospital.
