I always respected Lee’s wisdom and thoughtful counsel. He was so devoted to his family, St. Enoch Lutheran Church, and his community. Lee was a living example of faithfulness to God and of love and service to his neighbor. He never needed nor asked for attention to himself, always acting our of true humility. I give thanks Lee is in Christ’s presence and that he can hear the words, “Well done good and faithful servant.”
Christopher Campbell says
Love and condolences to all this family. Lee was a great and kind and honest man who devoted his life to making the world a better place for everyone in it, and whose twinkling eyes and calm smile were a fixture of my growing up in St Enoch and Enochville. He was one of the best of a generation whose passing leaves a void we can never fill.
Katie Moss Glick says
Every time Great Uncle Lee and I spoke, he had that smile that reflected in his whole face, with that twinkle in his eyes. I don’t hardly have a memory without he and Aunt Gearldine together. Whether it was gardening or just sitting outside together. They were perfect for each other! There wasn’t one without the other. I always looked to them with great reverence and inspiration. He and Aunt Gerldine are among the last of that special generation of elders in this family! It’s a big loss, but we take such great solice in his dedication and faithful service to the Lord! He lived such a long and full life with so many generations looking up to him! What a beautiful family lineage and legacy he has left behind to go home to the Lord!

Just saw Lee’s obituary so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with Lee at the mill and I can honestly say he was a gem of a man. So kind and did his job well always doing everything you ask him to do and more. God bless the family. What great memories you have to cherish.
