Amy Gay Biggerstaff, 47, of Concord gained her wings on September 7, 2023. She was found peacefully at her home.
She was a 1994 honors graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School in Concord. She then graduated in 1998 from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with minors in English, Journalism, and Mass Communications. Amy went on to receive her Masters from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA in Therapeutic Counseling and Psychology with high honors.
Amy is survived by her daughter, Reagan Joy Furr; son, Cash Maximilian Biggerstaff of the home; her mother, Joy Lane; brother, Randy Lane Biggerstaff, of the home. Her father, Randy E. Biggerstaff and step-mother, Tammy Biggerstaff of Kannapolis. She also leaves behind many, many family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
