Ann Robinette White, 70, of China Grove passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Kiser Hospice House. Ann was born on April 20, 1944 in Taylorsville a daughter of the late Ellene Barnes and Fred Robinette.
A 1962 graduate of Taylorsville High school, Ann continued her education at Salisbury Business College. She was a member of Back Creek Presbyterian Church, a past President of the Women of the Church, a Vacation Bible School volunteer for many years, a lifetime member of the South Rowan Booster’s Club and volunteer for 30 years. Mrs. White was a very active member of the Millbridge Ruritan Club.
Ann loved family activities and being with family. She never meet a stranger.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Ray White, Sr. who she married on October 12, 1962; sons, Donnie White and wife, Daneen of China Grove and Chuck White of Salisbury; brother, Rick Robinette and wife, Vanessa of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Holden, Haley and Madi.
Visitation; The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 PM Thursday, July3, 2014, at Back Creek Presbyterian Church.
Service: The Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at Back Creek Presbyterian Church conducted by,Rev. Bill Thrailkill, pastor. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Millbridge Ruritan Club. 3060 Millbridge Road, China Grove, NC 28023 for establishing a scholarship in Ann’s name.
