Anne Jacobs, 67, of Landis, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Novant Rowan Medical
Center.

She was born July 9, 1954, in Granite Falls to the late William Laverne Johnson and Polly Moore Johnson.

Mrs. Jacobs attended school in Caldwell County, graduating from Granite Falls High School. For many years, Mrs. Jacobs worked professionally as a transcriptionist for both the medical field and law enforcement. She was a caring and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt who loved spending time with her closest friends and family on trips, especially to Holden Beach, NC. In addition, Mrs. Jacobs had many “fur babies” in the course of her life and loved all animals.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and sister, Judy Haigler.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years Russ; sons, Alex Edmisten (Crystal) and Ryan Jacobs (Krystal); sister, Carolyn Plaster (Don); brother, Bill Johnson (Iva); grandchildren, Lydia, Corben, and Reid; nephews, Andy Johnson, Kevin Haigler, Matthew Plaster, and Michael Johnson. The family would also like to recognize Mrs. Jacobs’ lifelong best friend in the entire world, Mickie Karriker.

The family will hold a celebration of life later at Holden Beach, Mrs. Jacobs’ favorite place.
