To a loving father-in-law. You welcomed me into the family from day one. One of my earliest and fondest memories is when I worked with you on your dad’s table, sanding and painting it in the garage of the Syracuse house. Thank you for all the lunches and conversations when I’d make my pit stops from the mountains. I’m going to miss being a taste tester for your various chile recipes! Your great love for us will live on through our loving memories of you! All my love, Carrie

My best memory of Mr Fernandez was from midnight bowling. He came to watch Mike bowl. On that night I bowled a 266 (which was my second highest game ever). All through that game he kept giving Mike a hard time as to how this skinny kid was taking it to his son. He and I would laugh after every strike and watch Mike try and keep up. It was because of his passion and encouraging that we had such a good time that night. From that day forward, every time I saw Tony, he would call me “the bowler”! I appreciated his spirit and he will truly be missed.
