Dear Heintz family: I am very sorry for your loss. I hope that in due time you receive God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Rest assured that God is love and he cares for all his creatures; therefore, he would never bring us suffering. In 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Another soothing scripture is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” May these few scriptures and the hope of resurrection in the new world bring you emotional support. (John 6:40)
