Blenda Carol Galloway, 63, of Kannapolis, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis surrounded by family. Mrs. Galloway was born on April 28, 1951 in Rowan County to Peggy Osborne Austin and the late Otis Austin.

Blenda was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Kannapolis and last worked as a Manager for Rose’s. She enjoyed collecting things, especially Dolls and Beanie Babies. Blenda loved watching races and traveling to the beach and mountains with family every chance she got.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Diane Eubanks.

In addition to her mother, Blenda is survived by her husband of 22 years, Larry “G” Galloway of Kannapolis; and a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Smith of Kannapolis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday December 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Baptist Church (806 Klutz St., Kannapolis, NC 28081). The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The remainder of the time, the family will be at the home of her mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House (1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144).
