Bonnie Elizabeth Coughenhour Harmon, 65 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Bonnie was born on October 27, 1948 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Norman Lee and Peggy Winkler Coughenour.
Bonnie was a graduate of North Rowan High School, and had worked for Collins & Aikman. She was a member of Woodleaf Baptist Church, and enjoyed traveling to the beach and her horses.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by a son, Harry Lee Richardson.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Harmon; sons, Edward Lee Coughenour of Salisbury, and Jamie Norman Richardson of Gold Hill. Grandchildren, Alora Richardson, Ariel Parish, Matthew Coughenour and Amanda Newhouse. Brother; Randy, and sisters; Debbie, Wanda and Tracy.
There will be a Memorial Service at Bonnie’s home (280 Indian Springs Road, Cleveland NC 27013) on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 5:00 PM.
