Bradley Charles Collins, 44, of Huntersville, NC originally from Port Jefferson, NY pulled an Irish exit on Saturday, July 18th, 2020. He was born April 14th, 1976 in Southampton, NY to Joyce Melledy Collins and the late Edward Michael Collins.
Bradley worked as a Financial Advisor. Brad enjoyed cooking, crazy socks, and plaid pants. He was never short of funny outfits to wear. Brad was extremely charismatic and always had a story to tell. He made people laugh and was extremely generous. Brad loved his dog, Charley.
In addition to his mother Bradley is survived by his siblings Bethany Jakubowski, William Collins, Brendan Collins, Tim Collins, and Meg Collins. He also has several nieces and nephews Cooper, Owen, Elly, Finley (2019), Ulga, Isar, and Kaylee.
His spirit will live on through his family and friends. He touched so many lives.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, Brad would like you to spend your money on an expensive dinner with loved ones. Talk about the great memories of Brad. He loved everyone so much.
Thank you for the continued love for Brad and support during this difficult time. His presence is missed but thankfully we have great memories to share.

Brad, you will forever be my person. You were the only person in the world who could make me laugh until my sides hurt.
Although we failed as husband and wife, you were the first person I wanted to share ANYTHING with. You were nothing short of a best friend. I miss you terribly, but know you’re at peace now. Later homie.

You will be missed, I can’t get over how much you look like your dad. I have fond memories of babysitting you when you were little , while your mom worked. When I lived in upstate NY your dad drove up for a visit with your sister Bethany. You loved chasing my chickens and collecting the eggs. It was a fun three days.
Love aunt Karen.

I had a lot of great memories growing Up with Brad in St James NY. Playing basketball in his driveway and baseball in the backyard. I always liked him and wished the best for him. Rest In Peace old friend.

Rarely does anyone come across a personality as big as his and with an intellect to match. You were one of my favorite people on this planet and we are truly worse off without your magnetic resonance of humor and wit. From trying fried pickles with your for the first time for either of us, to your own culinary wizardry and from your endless bounty of knowledge of most anything imaginable to your excessive kindness and generosity…you will forever be missed. Penne ala Brad will forever be a staple in my kitchen my friend. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends…and much love, always, to the newest beacon in the sky – the incomparable B-Rad!

I was gutted to read about my old friend’s passing and I’ll echo Charlie’s condolences above. When Brad and his family moved to St. James, he became one of my closest friends. Some of my fondest memories include spending time with Brad and his family (I can still remember riding in the back of his dad Ed’s Ford pickup truck). To Joyce, Bethany, and the rest of his family and friends, may Brad’s memory serve as a blessing. Rest easy old friend.

Brad, we loved you like a son and never stopped missing you. Your smile and laugh were infectious and you could not be in a bad mood when you were around. I remember, once, when you were going to make sauce and meatballs for our family, Jackie, said you were saying in your sleep “no cheese in the meatballs, no cheese in the meatballs, right”? referring to Stephanie’s dairy allergy. Even in your sleep you were thoughtful and considerate. I know that someday we will all be together again and in the mean time, be free, fly high and rest in peace. I know you will be protecting all your family and friends from the other side. Sending love and prayers to Joyce and the family, Love, Donna, Pete and Stephanie.

Brad, you were one of the most hilarious humans I have ever met. There are so many memories from family game nights, holidays, birthdays, etc where we were all together and you had us in stitches. The one we talk about the most is when you named Stephanie’s imaginary boyfriend “Lacheezio” and he was made out of a block of cheese. How we started this conversation is beyond me but the randomness of this story you made up had all of us gasping for air. My heart is broken knowing you are no longer physically here with us, but we will make it a point to keep the good times rolling because that is what you would have wanted. I will miss you Brad.
